Award Winning Leaders in Catalytic Heating & Drying

Cannabis Drying Technologies is a Division of Catalytic Industrial Group, a diversified family of companies specializing in the adaptation of infrared drying technologies to serve agribusiness and plant processing industries. Since 1953, the company has been on the forefront of innovation in the development of catalytic infrared heating technology. CDT has improved infrared processing technology that optimizes the way infrared radiation energy is delivered to food, feed and fiber. Applications have been developed to enhance the quality, yield and throughput for commercially processed grain, produce and foods.

Catalytic Industrial Group’s technology was developed in part with funding from the US Department of Energy's "National Industrial Competitiveness" (NICE3) grant. The technology can reduce moisture content from as high as 90%, to levels as low as 3%.

The company was one of eight recipients of an award presented as part of the Environmental Protection Agency's Pollution Prevention program. The company received the award in the category of "Environmentally Preferable Products." CDT also received a Pollution Prevention Award from the state of Kansas under the category of "New Technologies." Recent alliances with major equipment suppliers have led to optimization of purpose-built catalytic infrared systems for applications including cannabis, hemp and agricultural products.

Researchers at major universities have affirmed independent correlation of the effects and benefits gained through application of this technology.
